˙·٠•● FAQ ●•٠·˙ What do you use for doing your traditional art? For sketch I use soft and very random pencil. I don't need better tools if later I will use a rubbers. For lineart I use two kind of thin black pens. First one - unipin 0.2 - thin and waterproof pen. I use it for small pictures, thin linearts and details. Second one - Stabilo 0.4 - the biggest fault of this pen is its short use and it very quickly loses its ink and it isn't waterproof. I use that pen for bigger pictures and for pics without details. For colours I use ONLY crayons - sometimes or very rarely I use Conte/Bic (24 pieces) and Koh - I - Noor polycolor (7 pieces). But I really like use Koh - I - Noor Progresso (24 pieces), Hertlitz (12 pieces, but I use only a few colours) and Derwent Studio (72 pieces). I think about buying Coloursoft set of 24 or 36 pieces. I have too some Kon - I - Noor pastels and Aquarrels, but I don't use them cuz I can't XD About paper - I use normal printing paper. Your pictures of traditional art have very good colours. What kind of scanner do you use for scanning? Hahah XD good question... you must to know... that I don't use my scanner for sending pictures of traditional art to my comp. My scanner always destroys all colours (especially light, blue and yellows ones) so I use my digital camera :> I take photos of my art... but I edit them in Photoshop ... always. Very rarely I use my scanner. Sometimes it has good day so I accept scan. My digital camera - KODAK EASYSHARE C913 DIGITAL CAMERA My scanner - Lexmark X1195 This is one of those pictures that has nice colours befor scanning  What do you use for doing your digital art? For sketch i use a pencil (the same situation as with traditional art. I don't like draw sketches on the computer, I prefer traditional way for doing it) and i use my scanner for send it to my comp. Pictures like this one [link] I draw with Aiptek tablet in Adobe Photoshop CS or Adobe Photoshop Elements. Pictures in 'anime' style (like arts of my fakemon [link]) I draw in MicroSoft Paint with mouse (cuz I do it more quickly in this way). Pixel art I do in Microsoft Paint too :> What do you use for doing your keychains? I won't write about it here. I did a tutorial about my way of doing keychains in my style - [link] - Some of your pixelarts are animated. What kind of program do you use of doing animation? For doing animation i use Adobe Image Ready. It's with Adobe Photoshop. But if you don't have PS you can use other programs for gifs, or you can use online site iaza.com I can't use Adobe image Ready! How do you use that? [link]  Can I use your art for a banner/avatar/ other graphic? I would prefer to such questions are asked me individually. Then I can consider whether give the permission, or not. Of course, if I will let, please for giving credit - man when is using something could repay in this way How much time do you spend on one picture? It depends on details, size and number of chracters of one picture. Generally speaking I draw too slowly. Sometimes one sketch takes me about 2h O_O''(especially if I draw ppl XD) Traditional art - about 4-5h to finish it Digital art – about 3,5-4,5h to finish it But not always... a time for every picture is completely different Can I use your art for my blog/forum etc? That depends on character of using my art. If you can use it for layout or you want edit it in any way my answer sounds "no, you can't" But if you want put in in your post without edit, only as a bonus/image for example - "sure, you can". But you never can't say that you're author of that picture. You didn't do it, so don't say that Can you do a request for me (art trade with me? I don't do requests. They're closed forever, so please do not ask for it D: About art trades - please wait until I ask you, or wait until they are open Can you make a tutorial of... ? I only make tutorials when I feel like it. I have some tutorials in my gallery. Here they're    Can I use this ... avatar? If it is from section 'free avatars' (look at my journal entry), sure you can. But it would be great if you will give me credit. Do you have making next fakedexs in plans? Making fakemon is my hobby and I really like doing that :> But I really don't want make third fakedex, cuz i'm afraid that it would be the worst fakedex in my whole life. So.. I really don't know XD Is it okay if I use your Fakemon Dex for Role Playing/Hack/Other game? Sorry, but i always say "no". Why? it's my business. |
